IOLLA are more than just an eyewear brand. They design high-quality eyewear and bring it within the reach of everyone. All with an exceptional experience thrown in.
We were absolutely thrilled when they wanted to show their support for Prevent Breast Cancer and brilliantly agreed to be our corporate sponsors for the 2023 Prevent Breast Cancer Christmas Celebration at Manchester Cathedral.
We recently caught up with Katie Arathoon from the company, to discover more about IOLLA, and to understand why they became a Prevent Breast Cancer Corporate Partner.
Can you tell us more about IOLLA from a business perspective?
At IOLLA we believe in a better way to buy glasses, by offering great quality, affordable eyewear in an environment you can trust. With all of our frames being designed and manufactured in Scotland, we are passionate about helping people feel good through their eyewear. From our range of over 175 stylish designs to our relaxed easy to shop showrooms, we are committed to helping every customer find their perfect pair of IOLLAs.
Why has IOLLA chosen to partner with Prevent Breast Cancer?
Everyone deserves to live long healthy lives but with busy lifestyles, many people fail to prioritise their own health. We want to ensure that everyone puts their eye health as a priority, and we appreciate the work Prevent Breast Cancer does in the prediction and prevention of breast cancer.
Why did Prevent Breast Cancer stand out to you, over other charities?
IOLLA are passionate about supporting local brands, charities and initiatives and with Prevent Breast Cancer being the only UK charity specifically shining a light on protection and prevention we wanted to reinforce the lifesaving mission of this wonderful Manchester based charity. We know that breast cancer can affect both men and women and appreciate the incredible work Prevent Breast Cancer does with a small but mighty team in working towards a breast cancer free future for the Northwest and beyond.
How do you aim to support the charity in its goal to prevent breast cancer for future generations?
By sponsoring Prevent Breast Cancer’s Christmas Celebration, we hope to support the charity in its mission to spread the word about prevention and protection, donating 20% of our profits on the night and shining a light on the work done by the charity and its volunteers. We have also made Prevent Breast Cancer our first charity partner in the launch of our instore Honesty Coffee Bar in Manchester, giving our customers an opportunity to learn more about the charity.
What does a breast cancer free future mean to you?
We believe that a breast cancer free future means living life without fear, safe in the knowledge of a cure.
