Payroll Giving

Prevent Breast Cancer receives no government funding. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our vital work.

Payroll Giving

Give As You Earn

Payroll Giving (also known as Give as you Earn or Workplace Giving) allows you to donate tax free to any UK registered charities, direct from your pay. Donations are deducted before tax so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p – making payroll giving the most efficient way to donate.

It’s simple to set up, all you need to do is complete this form and email it to us at info@preventbreastcancer.org.uk. We’ll then contact your employer to set up the payments.

Is anyone eligible to give via Payroll Giving?

Provided you pay tax on your salary or pensions, through PAYE, you can give via Payroll Giving.

What are the benefits?

  • No direct debits or standing orders need to be set up, and you don’t need to hand over any bank account details
  • Donations are deducted before tax, which means that if you donate say £10 a month, only £8 would be taken from your net pay
  • Not everyone has the time or resources to fundraise for their chosen charity – Payroll Giving means you can support us without having to throw yourself out of a plane, spend an entire day baking for a bake sale, or run / cycle / swim anywhere!
  • When you sign up, we’ll send you a Prevent Breast Cancer pin badge!

If you’d rather set up Payroll Giving directly with your employer, you can simply download and print the form, and give it to your payroll department.

Your donation can really make a difference and help us create a future free from breast cancer. For more information you can visit the Charities Trust website.
