Challenge-trg Group are on a mission to be the integrated logistics, training and recruitment partner of choice in th UK. They’re also on a mission to prevent breast cancer for future generations.

We recently caught up with Amy Molden from The Group, to find out more about the company itself and why they originally come on board as a Prevent Breast Cancer Corporate Partner.

Could you tell us a little about Challenge-trg Group from a business perspective?

As a leader in the recruitment and logistics sector, we acknowledge and understand our responsibility to ensure we continually implement Group-wide activities that contribute towards building a stronger society that can thrive. Through our disruptive innovation, high-quality performance, and culture of prosperity and resilience, we have continued to focus on our candidates, clients, and our internal colleagues to make a positive impact on the communities we operate in. People are at the heart of everything we do.

Why did you choose to partner with Prevent Breast Cancer?

Charity sponsorship and support is a key initiative that forms part of our Group Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. We recognise that breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and acknowledge that as a large employer, we have colleagues and their families that will have been or are currently impacted by a family member or friend with breast cancer.

Why did Prevent Breast Cancer stand out to you, over other charities?

The work that Prevent Breast Cancer undertakes to develop preventative measures to stop the disease is one of the reasons why we decided to support the charity. We also wanted to contribute to their mission to build and open a National Breast Imaging Academy, further supporting them to help train more staff to offer preventative screening.

How do you aim to support the charity in its goal to prevent breast cancer for future generations?

Since our partnership started with Prevent Breast Cancer in 2022, our colleagues have taken part in a range of challenges including the Great Manchester Run and Tour de Manc, to raise vital funds for the charity – raising over £25,000 to date. As a Group, we look to continue our support and we are ready for our next challenge!
