The CASCARA (Costs And Supportive Care in Breast Cancer) project is investigating the hidden financial costs and supportive care needs associated with breast cancer.

The CASCARA project is funded by Breast Cancer Now and organised by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit at The Institute of Cancer Research, on behalf of the Lancet Breast Cancer Commission.

They are looking for people with lived experience of breast cancer (including patients, relatives and friends who have cared for someone with breast cancer) to tell them their experiences about these issues by filling in a survey.

They hope that by raising awareness of these hidden costs and supportive care needs, they can drive change towards better support for people with breast cancer and their families.

To complete the relevant survey, you scan the QR code within this CASCARA Flyer or you can directly access the surveys below by choosing either the survey for the patient or the one for a carer :

You can find more information and future updates of CASCARA on their website.

If you have any questions about the survey, please do not hesitate to contact the team on email via at cascara-icrctsu@icr.ac.uk

The surveys close at midnight on 3rd March 2023
