Nikki Barraclough

Nikki Barraclough is Prevent Breast Cancer’s Chief Executive. In this role, Nikki leads the organisation and its people, providing strategic direction across fundraising, communications, finance, operations and governance, while championing Prevent Breast Cancer’s mission to stop breast cancer before it starts.
The driving force behind the charity’s growth and impact, Nikki has led the team through significant organisational development and has played a pivotal role in shaping and delivering ambitious fundraising strategies, most notably spearheading efforts to build the National Breast Imaging Academy.
Holding a Master’s degree and a Certificate in Fundraising Management, Nikki has been at the forefront of many of Prevent Breast Cancer’s most successful fundraising initiatives. She is also a strong believer in practising what she preaches, having joined supporters to cycle from London to Paris in 2016, trek to Everest Base Camp in 2019, and most recently climb Mount Kilimanjaro in 2025.
Nikki is passionate about developing people, fostering collaboration and ensuring Prevent Breast Cancer remains a bold, innovative and impactful charity. She was interviewed for International Women’s Day 2021, reflecting on her career progression alongside the charity’s growth and the fulfilment she finds in leading work that saves lives.
