Around 56,800 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. But breast units are closing across the UK, causing devastating delays in diagnosis and treatment.
This terrifying number continues to spiral, but staffing levels have not kept up with demand, and dwindling facilities means vital research into preventing breast cancer could come to a standstill.

Regionally, it will enable 13,000 more women each year to get their mammograms and follow-up appointments.
