Meet our incredible London based Ambassador, Sara Cavalleri. Sara has been a strong supporter of Prevent Breast Cancer since October 2020 and has organised brilliant fundraisers within her work place. In this blog, Sara tells us why she decided to take on the Ambassador role.

How long have you been a Prevent Breast Cancer Ambassador?

I have been a Prevent Breast Cancer Ambassador since October 2020.

Tell us a bit about why you chose to become a Prevent Breast Cancer Ambassador?

I heard about Prevent Breast Cancer when they gave my work place a talk over 2 years ago on breast cancer signs, symptoms and prevention. I was extremely impressed by their commitment to research and prevention.

What makes you so passionate about the charity?

I have found a group of fearless, inspiring, talented, and passionate women who fight to increase awareness and do something good for this world. I am truly proud to be one of their Ambassadors in London and I look forward to supporting them over the long term.

What’s your favourite part of your role?

I love organising fundraising activities, getting people involved in sports challenges and coordinating health talks. I set up a 30/30/30 corporate challenge and got lots of people involved. Being a Prevent Breast Cancer Ambassador is always extremely inspiring – you can have a tangible impact and genuinely feel part of a family.
