Macclesfield – where it all began!
Macclesfield, for the third year running, took part in Paint Macc Pink.
Macclesfield was actually where the idea for our Paint Pink campaign originated when a local family decided they wanted to raise the much needed funds to plough into breast cancer research after their family was blighted by a rogue breast cancer gene that was causing devastation within their family.
So much has happened over the years, from doormen in tutus, to bucket collections at the football ground to huskies pulling sleds!!
2017 started with a stall at the famous Treacle Market on Sunday 1st October, and the fun continued throughout October.
There was a pink bar crawl, another pink husky doorman pull and also the Bitter & Twisted MCC Pink Charity Ride Out!
The Paint Macc team have their own website, so make sure to have a look for more information, or if you have a business, community group or club in the area and want to take part in 2018, make sure to contact the team through their website.
