Morecambe Bay Walk

The magnificent Morecambe Bay Walk is back! We can’t wait to wade across this beautiful bay with you. Sign up now to secure your place for May 2024.

We’re so excited to be bringing back one of our most popular events, the Morecambe Bay Walk. Setting off from Arnside and arriving at Grange, the walk is approximately 8 miles (between 6-9 miles depending on the tide) and takes around 3-4 hours.

The wonderful experience will offer you unbeatable views of Morecambe Bay. It will take you across the muddy bay sands, with highlights including crossing the River Kent estuary channel.

Places are very limited and early booking is highly advised to avoid disappointment. See you on the sands!

Children are able to take part in this event! We advise that any children are aged 6 or over due to the river channel crossings. Please ensure you purchase a ticket for every member of your group.

There is an additional £5 extra charge for dogs which can be paid on the day of the event. Please note, that your dog will be required to swim across river crossings at certain points or will have to be carried.

The minimum fundraising target for this event is £30 per person and the money raised will help us to continue our vital research. As a thank you, once you’ve raised over £30 in sponsorship, we’d love to give you one of our Prevent Breast Cancer charity t-shirts to wear with pride on the walk.
